What We Do

Dance: A Tool for Connection, Empowerment, and Change

At The Mom Crew Foundation, we are committed to using dance as a tool for positive change. By performing and teaching the arts, we unite people from diverse backgrounds and create opportunities for personal growth. Our performances at local events and our outreach programs provide a platform for individuals to connect, express themselves, and serve others.

As a donor or sponsor, you are directly funding the expansion of our dance initiatives. Your support helps us bring joy, healing, and empowerment to underserved communities. Whether through performances, workshops, or community engagement projects, your contributions help us create spaces where individuals can rediscover their passions and make meaningful connections.

OUR PROGRAM PILLARS

Dance & Performing Arts

The Mom Crew Foundation was founded to provide moms and their families with opportunities to rediscover the joy and excitement they experienced before having children. United through a shared love of dance, our members have expanded their passion for the performing arts into a platform for philanthropy, community service, civic engagement, and social justice advocacy. We believe in teaching what we practice—spreading our love for movement while using dance as a tool for positive change. With the support of donations and sponsorships, we can continue to expand our mission and reach even more families, bringing them together through the transformative power of the arts.

Civic Education

The Mom Crew Foundation is committed to fostering civic awareness and engagement among our children, families, and the communities we serve. We believe that staying informed about local, national, and global issues is crucial to shaping a more inclusive and just world. Through our arts-based initiatives and philanthropic efforts, we inspire individuals to take an active role in their communities while advocating for equal representation and respect for all people. Our work is deeply rooted in the belief that every human being deserves to be seen, heard, and valued in their authentic cultural and ethnic expressions.

Social Justice

As one of the largest cities in the nation, Dallas, TX presents countless opportunities to use the arts as a medium for addressing and resolving social justice issues. The Mom Crew Foundation creates innovative projects, choreography, and events that foster dialogue, bridge racial and cultural divides, and bring joy to communities in need. By partnering with the City of Dallas, the State of Texas, nonprofit organizations, and corporate sponsors, we seek to expand our reach—promoting love, understanding, and healing through artistic expression.

Personal Development

The Mom Crew Foundation believes in lifelong learning and personal growth, both for ourselves and the communities we serve. We prioritize education, literacy, and self-improvement through ongoing engagement, staff development, and meaningful conversations. Our commitment to continuous growth extends to every aspect of our work—encouraging our members, families, and participants to evolve and thrive. We embrace change, reflect on our progress, and remain dedicated to creating a culture of learning, resilience, and empowerment.

Environmental Responsibility

Beyond our core pillars, The Mom Crew Foundation is dedicated to environmental stewardship. We educate our children about the importance of recycling, protecting natural resources, and respecting the planet. By integrating sustainability into our mission, we instill values that ensure future generations are equipped to care for the world around them. With each of these pillars, The Mom Crew Foundation is committed to making a lasting impact—one dance, one lesson, and one act of service at a time.
